Emmanual Alder 2010/2011
The main purpose of this role is to work within the Product
Management function to gain hands on experience in project
management and new product development process' in high volume
manufacturing environment and gain additional experience in
commercial arena. Whilst gaining this experience you will provide
day to day support to the product management team and work on/lead
projects, as well as supporting the team in applying best practice
and help drive change
Current Student, Emmanual Alder, gives his account of the
experience as NPD Assistant:
"Since the beginning of my placement, I have felt
comfortable and have been treated like a member of the team. My
role and responsibilities has given me the experience and exposure
I've always wanted and needed. Everything which I have been
involved in has been beneficial to my university degree.
As NPD assistance my main task is to facilitate changes and
improve the company's current new product development process, in
doing so I have gained valuable experience and skills developing my
knowledge and understanding in product management. My time at
Apollo has been a successful and wonderful experience."
