The marketing placement offers the opportunity to gain a hands-on experience in a busy marketing environment, supporting the Marketing group with all activities.

Some of the duties throughout the role include assisting in the update of literature, developing the internal communication presentation, compiling PR reports, issuing trademark agreements, maintaining the company's website and providing general admin support to the department.

Former Student, William Lay, gives his account of the experience as Marketing Assistant:

"From day-one I felt as though I was part of a team and it didn't take long until I felt truly settled in the marketing department. Everyone in the team is very helpful and working so closely with them has proved to be a great experience.

"I have been given a number of projects that allow me to use my creativity and communication skills as well as provide opportunities to develop on my organisation and time-management. Some of the duties are my sole responsibility which has given me more confidence in the working environment.

"My year at Apollo so far has been very enjoyable and the experience it has given me for both my university course and working life after graduation is invaluable."
