Quality Engineering Placement
Apollo is offering a placement with our Quality department. The
department is an essential part of the business and is responsible
for a number of factors that separate Apollo from the rest. This
unique opportunity will allow the student to gain a key
understanding of how quality can be assessed and managed in a
global manufacturing company.
The student will provide a central point of contact for
shop-floor quality related issues and provide timely and accurate
assistance where required.
Other key responsibilities include liaising with other
departments to resolve component part issues, internal
manufacturing process issues and evaluating the electronic SPC
sheet storage system.
The applicant will need to be able to communicate appropriately
in a variety of contexts, possess a good understanding in
engineering concepts, have a keen attention for detail and a
common-sense approach to problem solving.
