Apollo XP95 intelligent fire detectors have been installed to protect the Yelde Hall, Chippenham, Wiltshire, following a major restoration project by North Wiltshire District Council. Consultants on the project were Martin Thomas Associates, with the Apollo equipment being supplied and commissioned by Technical Alarm Systems Ltd.

Complex fire detection requirements at Broadway Plaza, Birmingham, UK, have been resolved using an Apollo-based intelligent fire detection system. Leader Systems took up the fire detection challenge at the £80 million retail, leisure and residential development. The project included the installation of approximately 1,000 Apollo XP95 devices across three main fire detection systems and the development of some bespoke interface units to enable the integration of tenant fire detection systems.

Apollo Fire Detectors Protect IKEA Cardiff

An Apollo-based intelligent fire detection system has been specified and installed to protect IKEA Cardiff, the latest venture by the Swedish retail chain in the UK. The fire detection system incorporates in excess of 1,500 Apollo XP95 devices and was designed, installed and commissioned by Logic Fire Systems.

Westminster Cathedral protected from fire using Apollo-based system

Westminster Cathedral has been equipped with a new fire detection system based on Apollo XP95 intelligent fire detectors. The system was supplied and commissioned by Technical Alarm Systems Ltd of Southampton. The Cathedral Church of Westminster, as the site is properly known, is a focal point for the Roman Catholic faith in Great Britain.

Apollo guards against fire at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

A new fire detection system including approximately 1,500 Apollo XP95 devices has been detailed to keep a permanent look-out for fire in some of the accommodation quarters at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Works service manager Mowlem Aqumen Defence specified an Apollo-based fire system to meet Ministry of Defence requirements.

Manchester Piccadilly Station has become the first major transport terminus in the UK to be equipped with a fire protection system that provides horizontal progressive managed evacuation. The fire protection system was installed as part of the recent station improvement project.
