Complex fire detection requirements at Broadway Plaza, Birmingham, UK, have been resolved using an Apollo-based intelligent fire detection system. Leader Systems took up the fire detection challenge at the £80 million retail, leisure and residential development. The project included the installation of approximately 1,000 Apollo XP95 devices across three main fire detection systems and the development of some bespoke interface units to enable the integration of tenant fire detection systems.

Westminster Cathedral protected from fire using Apollo-based system

Westminster Cathedral has been equipped with a new fire detection system based on Apollo XP95 intelligent fire detectors. The system was supplied and commissioned by Technical Alarm Systems Ltd of Southampton. The Cathedral Church of Westminster, as the site is properly known, is a focal point for the Roman Catholic faith in Great Britain.

Apollo guards against fire at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst
