The contract to design, supply and commission the new fire detection system was won through competitive tender by Dragon Advanced Technology Systems Limited, who recommended Apollo's XP95 range of intelligent fire detectors to meet the client's specification.

British company Apollo Fire Detectors has won the contract to supply the fire detection system for the Shanghai Harbour International Passenger Terminal in Hongkou District. The installation will comprise over 4,600 devices, including a combination of Apollo's XP95 analogue addressable and Series 60 conventional fire detectors and compatible interfaces. The entire system will be controlled by 2 eight-loop control panels and will also feature a graphics display.
