XPander

XPander is a range of wireless fire detection products which can be incorporated into fire detection systems where the use of fire cables is either impracticable or undesirable.

Applications include stately homes and architecturally sensitive buildings. XPander is an extension of our popular XP95 range, is easy to install and uses patented XPERT card addressing.

Mini Switch Monitor

In response to market feedback, Apollo has developed a new smaller Mini Switch Monitor which can be fitted onto a DIN-Rail with a twist-click motion or mounted in an enclosure. It can also be mounted in devices such as manual call points. The new Mini Switch Monitor reports the contact status of one or more open switches on a single pair of cables and offers isolate, interrupt and noninterrupt functions in a single unit.

Discovery Sounder Beacon Base

The Discovery Sounder Beacon Base makes full use of the Discovery protocol. When the fire system is being commissioned a magnetic wand can be used to adjust and test each sounder locally. Tones can be used for other purposes in addition to warning of fire, ideal for schools and there is a soft start option, ideal for hospitals and nursing homes.

Orbis Duct Detector

The new Orbis Duct Detector has been designed to accept an Orbis detector head. It provides early detection of smoke in the air moving through heating and ventilation (HVAC) ducts for supplementary detection.

EN54 Compliant Manual Call Points

Apollo’s new XP95 and Discovery manual call points have been designed to comply with European standard EN54-11:2001. The new devices are compatible with previous Apollo call points based on the KAC World Series product.

The call points are supplied with isolators as standard. Non-isolated versions are also available. Each product is sold with a resettable element and a backbox for surface mounting.

Intrinsically safe and waterproof devices for the Discovery range will be available shortly.
