IT Group

The IT Group is comprised of the IT and MIS sections. By sharing a common help desk and support database, both sections are able to schedule and direct activities to resolve problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The IT Group is taking a pragmatic approach to implementing best practice by using the ITIL service management guidelines.

The IT section is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of Apollo’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimising key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.

The MIS section is responsible for supervising the operation of Apollo’s MIS systems through implementation of best practices. This includes installing, patching, upgrading, promoting MIS use and maintaining the company’s investments in MIS technologies. The MIS section is also responsible for planning and coordinating the change management of processes required for the support of MIS systems necessary for business operations.
